About the Author;

Amy V. Dewhurst is a writer and producer currently developing a feature film about 9/11 hero Welles Crowther, known as “The Man in the Red Bandana,” in collaboration with members of the FDNY, DoD, South Tower survivors, and families of fallen firefighters. She recently worked with The Dropkick Murphys on “A Hero Among Many”, a music video honoring Crowther’s life.

Amy began her career on film sets of legends, Sydney Pollack, Martin Scorsese, and Backdraft producer Richard B. Lewis. For more than 15 years, Dewhurst has served as Features Editor at LA Yoga Magazine covering the place where music, business, sports and politics meets spirituality. She supported luminary Ram Dass on many of his legacy projects including films, books, CDs, and public programs.
